Kicked off the Bhutan Women Parliamentary Caucus (BWPC) Orientation Workshop today. Opening program was graced by His Excellency Lyonpo Tashi Dorji, Chair of National Council and Ms. Azusa Kubota -UNDP RR. The workshop with the theme ‘towards common understanding and strategizing for gender equality’ is a joint initiative of BNEW & NCWC. About 40 participants comprising of Hon’ble Members of the Parliament, CSOs and media will be participating in this workshop.
