With imposition of immediate lockdown of Thimphu on 12 June, 2021, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease after strong indication of disease in the community, the National Commission for Women and Children (NCWC) would like to inform the general public that the NCWC will continue to deliver the protection services to women and children through online. Therefore, if you or anyone you know is experiencing any form of gender-based violence and child protection issue or requires any help including counseling, kindly seek help and support through 1098 or email: ps@ncwc.govt.bt which is available 24/7. The commission will also announce additional contact and services based on the extension of lockdown by the government.
