Consultative Meeting to Review the Draft National Plan of Action on Gender (NPAG)

A consultative workshop on the draft review report of National Plan of Action on Gender (NPAG ) was conducted with representation from Government, Private Sector, CSOs and Development Partners on 9th August,2019 at Namgay Heritage Hotel, Thimphu.
The aim of the meeting was to validate on the achievements and gaps of the actions highlighted across seven critical areas of the NPAG 2008-2013. The review included the progress made towards promoting gender equality in the 11th Five Year Plan (FYP). The findings from the review which is validated through consultation will contribute towards the formulation of the National Plan of Action for Gender Equality (NPAGE) 2018-2023".
