With the announcement of nationwide lockdown by the government on 11 August, 2020, to break the chain of transmission of the COVID-19, the National Commission for Women and Children (NCWC) would like to inform the general public that the Commission Office will remain closed until further directives from government.
In this regard, the NCWC will not be able to provide all the services that may be required by the public. However, owing to lockdown measures such as school and office closures and restrictions on movement, families are expected to experience increased stress. During such times, if you or someone you know is experiencing any form of domestic violence, gender based violence, child protection issues or requires any urgent help including counseling, kindly seek help and support which is available 24/7, through the following numbers:
