With the announcement of the lockdown of Thimphu Thromde by the government on 20 December, 2020, to break the chain of the transmission of the COVID-19, the National Commission for Women and Children (NCWC) would like to inform the general public that the Commission Office and other stake holder will remain closed until further directives from government.
In this regard, owing to the lockdown measures such as closure of the offices, institutions, and business entities, the families might experience increased stress. During such times, if you or someone you know is experiencing any form of gender based violence and child protection issues or require any help including counselling, kindly seek help and support which is available 24/7, through the following numbers:
