Mid year Meeting of the Gender Focal Person

The National commission for Women and Children (NCWC) organized the Mid year Meeting of the Gender Focal Person (GFPs) in Paro from September 7th to 8th,2016. The opening of the Meeting was graced by the Hon'ble Chairperson, Her Excellency Lyonpo Dorji Choden, Minister, Ministry of Works and Human Settlements. The meeting was organized to discuss issues, challenges and opportunities faced by the GFPs in mainstreaming gender in their respective sectors. The meeting is being attended by GFPs from different ministries, autonomous agencies, relevant Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Private Sector.
